May 31st 2018 Road Report
Mareeba to Laura - bitumen is all good, no road works or delays. Laura to Hann River the Hann River end of the dirt is chopped up, dust holes and corrugations but its only for around 10km maximum. Hann to Musgrave not bad, straight through. Musgrave to Coen Road works at the bottom of the Bamboo range but no delays. Dirt road is generally good, a grader crew working. Also road works at the washouts from wet season around half way, but no delays. Coen to Archer River Generally good. Archer to Weipa dirt sections are very good at the moment all the way. Road works at Myall Creek for new bitumen section still in progress, short delay with a pilot vehicle through works. Overall generally good, caravans coming through no problems. Still not a lot of traffic and the windy conditions is clearing the dust well.
